In a bizarre partnership that breaks traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Mission Revealed
According to the formal announcement, "An unusual encounter pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of banned rituals and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the obscurity." The narrative presents a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the characters with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a important location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "strange tests and a terrifying foe" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Changes
The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through eras. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, presumably the hostage, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Players who finish the adventure will obtain an special katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also features premium Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
