Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection is back with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application that can be used to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Entry Level

The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 offers enhanced value through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
