The return of Mega Evolutions in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has ignited widespread enthusiasm within the fandom. From the gradual reveal of newcomers ahead of the title's launch, to players forming strong views on the full lineup of Mega Evolutions, there's a lot for fans to anticipate.

Given many of the Super Forms boasting unique appearances that emphasize their traits, one idea naturally: How can link this with astrology? This list is based on a blend of intuition, sign stereotypes, and individual observations.

Aries – Mega Camerupt

Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as both are the Mega Pokémon and zodiac symbol that inspire the greatest apprehension. The Crab – Super Manectric

Fans couldn’t look away from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same energy a Lion brings to the scene. Starmie is also rumored to be transmitting radio waves from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, even if for aliens.

The Maiden – Super Victreebel

The always-ready and perpetually-anxious Virgo is ideally represented in Super Victreebel, the Mega with constant acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being charmingly critical is strongly mirrored throughout this Pokémon’s whole evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a retirement plan, to its inverted visage that’s just like the emoji a Maiden sends to the chatroom when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than making a strategy.

Libra – Super Audino

Look at this sweet, sensitive being, who employs the sensors on its auditory organs to detect how people are feeling by their pulse. Always empathetic – occasionally to a fault – and trying to maintain the peace, there are many Libras who would probably appreciate Super Audino's abilities. However, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress more about everyone else.

The Scorpion – Mega Banette

This Ghost-type is a Pokémon with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a toy, it gained consciousness through pure resentment and swore retribution on its previous caretaker. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That seems exactly like several conversations I’ve had with my scary Scorpio acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.

Sagittarius – Super Hawlucha

Each Mega Hawlucha and Archers are always putting on a show. As a Sagittarius myself, the amount of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “playful small entertainer” is countless. The showiest and most obnoxious Mega Evolution, its Pokédex entry even mentions how it “poses to show off its strength.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Super Hawlucha the most apt Archer counterpart I can think of.

The Goat – Super Absol

Did you know that a Super Absol has the ability to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the identical energy as a Capricorn, who often consistently believe they’re correct.
